These terms apply to your use of Budget Buddy (“the service”). By signing in or continuing to use the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Budget Buddy is a personal-finance tool for importing bank transactions you export yourself, assigning categories, setting budgets, and asking questions about your spending. It is not a bank, a financial adviser, or a tax authority. Nothing in the app is financial, tax, or legal advice.
Please don't:
We may suspend or remove accounts that do any of the above.
Budget Buddy is currently free to use for invited users. If we ever introduce paid tiers, we'll tell you before they apply to your account.
You own your data. We process it to provide the service per our Privacy Policy. You can wipe your own transaction data at any time from Settings → Danger Zone, or request full account deletion by emailing botha.as@gmail.com.
The service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may update, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to give notice of significant changes, but can't guarantee uptime, data preservation, or continued availability of any particular feature.
Budget Buddy is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Category suggestions and AI answers may be wrong — always double-check your figures before making financial decisions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, that show signs of abuse, or that remain inactive for long periods. We'll make a reasonable effort to notify you before closing an account that's in good standing.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes that can't be resolved informally will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
